the non-intellectual show
i've got some insights from watching too much of 'Da chang jin' that stupid korean show?
it's so boring, and i find it so dense and ludicrous. in every bloody episode, SOMETHING BAD MUST HAPPEN TO THE POOR GIRL.
okay, basically, chang jin ( the main character), wants to fulfil her late mom's wishes, which is to become some high ranking cook in the imperial ktichen. she then goes through alot of tribulations. she's a good cook obviously-- as depicted in the show-- i'm like wow.. if only i'm able to prepare such a witty and sumptuous meal for my future spouse. like wei loong have said in the past, ' to keep a man, you got to satisfy his stomach' in chinese. Hmmm.....
she got herself in the palace, then she unconsiously got some enemies as her very presence appears to be substantially threatening to making their way through the ranks. the poor thing did not have true friends except for this one girl, ...(forgot her name).
on one occasion, she was chased out of the palace because she was outside helping a injured soldier bandage his wounds and missed the time in going back to the palace.
on another, (she somehow got her way into the palace again) she was accused of putting this voodoo amulet thing in the kitchen, wishing for the empress to suffer a miscarriage.. that sort of thing.
after several episodes, i could guess roughly what wil happen to the girl subsequently.
AM I SMART OR AM I SMART??
heh .. just joking lah!! in short, it's a comical tragedy.. wholesomely sadistic.
had much fun in literature class. in a bid to use a series of transitional devices, which more commonly known as "connecting words" like 'whereas', 'on the contary', 'vis a vis', 'emphatically', 'to illustrate', 'and', 'but', 'furthermore', 'in this situation'.... etc, azwan totally made his piece of commentary of two poems, a disaster. to add on the the humour, Shahril actually commented, 'Nice introduction!' at the side of his first developing paragraph. Mr Sng refers his piece of work " a sacrifice of his ego, dignity, reputation and social status." Azwan humbly replied, " i want to improve, it's worth the sacrifice". Mr Sng added, " that's the spirit..."
i'm totally tired beat from all that laughing. haha.
Azwan is this funny guy from my class... he looks like this.. kinda model material..(will upload at a later date)
this is azwan !! t ada! taken with me like so long ago??
